Internet Marketing Tips: The Power Of Positive Advertising

How’s it going guys? I hope you’re in a damn positive mood today as I am.

Positivity. It’s a powerful thing. When you’re in a positive frame of mind, it seems that the cosmic world will also do its share to make everything work in your favor. Not only does having a positive mood help you, it’s also damn infectious. You influence people to be optimistic about their lot too.

The power of positivity can also be used in your advertising efforts. For starters, your messages can highlight the number of people who have made their lives better through the use of your product. You could say: “In the past 3 months alone, 10,255 highly-stressed career women have experienced the immense benefits of our spa service: increased strength and vitality, renewed vigor and improved overall health and wellness.” Working women understand what it’s like to be stressed and are looking to free themselves from it. If your ad tells them in a light, optimistic tone that you have a solution and it works based on the experience of the majority who have tried it, then it’s sure to lure them to you.

What would the difference be if you begin your ad in this manner: “In the past 3 months, 10,255 career women were constantly harassed by deadlines, worked crazy amounts of overtime and suffered from stress-related illnesses.” That’s obviously negative pitch based on negativity. While it may be your aim to get them to patronize your service because of these harsh realities, the negative tone in which it was crafted does nothing to encourage them to seek you out. Sure, your sales pitch of offering the relief they are looking for might appear somewhere down the line, the opening tone does not offer enough incentive to egg them to read on. Worse, these lines give the impression that these inconveniences they experience are a matter-of-course. And if they get the notion that being stressed is normal in this work-a-day world, why would they bother checking out your service? Now that would strike your biz right out!

Focusing on the negatives might be an effective way to point out the flaws and errors of certain ways and practices, but it only focuses it there. In contrast, positive advertising motivates people to seek action, especially if they’re out looking for the same solution. It’s inherent in human nature to gravitate towards the things or actions that give them pleasure or offer them relief from an existing pain.

So let your advertisements highlight the positives of your biz. Show how cool and awesome and absolutely beneficial it can be for them. Do positive advertising and succeed.
